Accused one punch killer gets bail

The suspect charged with killing a man with one punch at a Southwest pub has been freed on bail.

Scott Robert Hooser, 27, is charged with manslaughter in Brian Ludwig’s death which police believe was triggered by an argument about baseball.

Lawyer Kim Ross says Hooser was released on certain conditions and is banned from consuming drugs or alcohol, or attending drinking establishments.

His release conditions also specify he is not allowed to have contact with six people.

Police believe one single blow caused the blunt force trauma that killed Ludwig.
