Winds gusting as high as 91km/hr at the Calgary International Airport and 95km/hr at Springbank Airport wreaked havoc, downing trees and tossing debris around.

The Calgary Fire Department responded to over 40 wind storm related calls. Many trees fell on roadways, houses and at least one vehicle.

Two elderly people were inside it and trapped, but not hurt.
