Peanut butter bars recalled by CFIA

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency is warning the public not to consume the PureFit brand of Peanut Butter Crunch bars because of possible salmonella contamination.

The bars have been recalled by its U.S.-based distributor.

The agency says the products may have been distributed nationally.

There have been no reported illnesses associated with the consumption of the bars.
