A man facing charges in a gang related New Year’s Day triple homicide has fired his lawyer for the fifth time.
Nicholas Rodrigo Hovanesian told courts Monday he would be getting a new lawyer for his next court appearance to set his sentencing date.
Hovanesian believes he should qualify for two for one credit for time served because of his offence date.
Hovanesian pleaded guilty last may to kidnapping victim Aaron Bendle in 2009 and being an accessory after the fact to his murder, and two other murders.
Two of the shooters received life sentences for three counts of first degree murder last year.
According to The Calgary Herald, a third man is yet to be sentenced.
