Suspect nabbed in robbery

Quick work by police in the wake of a reported armed robbery Saturday night landed a suspect in custody shortly afterward.

Charges are pending after an incident at a Best Buy at 901-17th Avenue S.W.

Duty Inspector Steve Lorne tells 660News a man walked into the store around 8:30 p.m. and indicated he had a gun.

Lorne says the man took off with some tablets and laptops but he didn’t have them for long.

Shortly after, police identified a suspect and made an arrest as he was leaving a home in Rundle.

Charges are pending.
