Fire hall sale could leave pub out in the cold

A pub in Inglewood may have to pack up and move as the city puts a heritage fire hall up for sale.

The Hose and Hound Neighbourhood Pub has had a home inside Fire Hall No. 3 since 1996.

The building’s fate is now up in the air, as the city looks to make extra cash to upkeep other properties.

While the fire hall will be protected from demolition, some city aldermen are concerned about what will happen to the house and hound.

The Calgary Herald reports pub owner Chuck Rose plans to compete in the bid for the building, saying they want to stay.
