Man recovering from gunshot wound

Airdrie RCMP are looking into an apparent shooting near CrossIron Mills on Wednesday night.
Corporal Darrin Turnbull says the 42-year-old victim was driven to the Peter Lougheed Hospital and police were contacted after he arrived at the hospital.
Officers say the victim was then transferred to Foothills Hospital, where he is recovering and in stable condition.
The exact location of the shooting is unknown at this time.
Calgary police were initially called in to help with the investigation but have since left it in the hands of RCMP.
