Premier gets coal for Christmas from taxpayers group

He’s making a list and checking it twice; Derek Fildebrandt of the Canadian Taxpayers Association is reflecting on who in the Alberta legislature has been naughty and who’s been nice this year.
At the top of the nice list is Municipalities Minister Doug Griffiths for standing up to Mayor Naheed Nenshi, saying no “to new taxing powers for municipalities without a referendum.”
Also in Fildebrandt’s good books: Minister Don Scott, Justice Minister Jonathan Denis and an honourable mention for Tory caucus whip Steve Young.
Getting coal in their stockings are Deputy Premier Thomas Lukaszuk, Finance Minister Doug Horner, Health Minister Fred Horne, Tourism Minister Christine Cusanelli and Premier Alison Redford.
According to The Calgary Sun, at the very top of the naughty list is Human Services Minister Dave Hancock who charged taxpayers for his law society membership year after year, and several pricey hotel stays.
