Two children are in hospital with minor injuries Tuesday morning, after getting in an accident on their way to school.
It happened on Hwy 567, 1 km east of Symon’s Valley Road.
Airdrie RCMP Cst. Robert Frizzel tells 660News the driver of the school bus was at fault.
“It was determined that the school bus driver made an unsafe left turn in front of a truck and was subsequently charged under the traffic safety act with that offence,” he says.
Police say speed and alcohol were not factors in the accident.
The bus is operated by First Student Canada.
