Motorcyclist dies after crash in SW

A man has been killed after a single vehicle crash in the city’s southwest.
According to police, a motorcyclist was traveling at a high rate of speed on NB 14th Street approaching the overpass onto Glenmore Trail early Wednesday night.
Duty Inspector Guy Baker tells 660News, witnesses on scene including off duty nurses tended to the man but were unable to save him.
The medical examiner has also been called in.
The victim’s name has not been released.
No word yet if alcohol or any other factors contributed to the crash.
Northbound 14th Street was shut down for nearly three hours and reopened shortly after 11 p.m.
