Three in hospital after crash on TransCanada

A crash in the Rogers Pass area seriously injured three Calgarians and shut down Highway 1 for several hours.
Police say two pickups collided head-on Saturday morning in Glacier National Park, near the Rogers Pass Summit.
Two of the victims were flown to hospital while a third was transferred by ground ambulance.
The crash shut down the TransCanada until around 7 p.m. Saturday.
Police released a statement calling the crash “an unnecessary tragedy” and that “collisions like this are preventable.”
They warn summertime traffic is heavy and are urging drivers to just take their time.
