Bears have been spotted roaming around a popular campground in Waterton National Park.
Despite several hazing efforts by Parks Canada staff, the bruins refuse the leave the Crandell Mountain Campground area.
The closure is only for people using tents; hard-sided campers and trailers are still allowed for now.
Officials say anyone with reservations will be moved to the nearby Townsite campground.
Waterton National Park tweeted out the warning Tuesday afternoon, issuing a special warning to anyone in the Crandell Mountain and Crandell Lake area.
They say the bears are walking into campsites in search of food and other things left out on the ground.
There have already been a number of bear warnings issued in several national and provincial parks this summer.
A few weeks ago, campers were kicked out of a site in Kananaskis Country at the Mount Kidd RV Park after a black bear came into the grounds in search of food left out on a picnic table.
A park official was forced to shoot the animal after several attempts were made to scare the bear off.
Earlier this month, a bear was spotted near the Three Sisters Campground, east of Canmore.
A grizzly bear also had to be removed from the Okotoks area, after it wandered too close in search of food.
