Thirty residents were out in the cold Thursday morning after a balcony on a four-story condo in the southeast caught fire.
Fire fighters got to the building in the 200 Block of Copperpond Common S.E. just after 8:00 a.m.
Crews learned upon arrival that construction crews working near the building had used an elevated lift to suppress the fire with an extinguisher after calling 911.
The fire was contained to just the balcony and while some items did sustain heat damage, the cause remains under investigation.
No one was injured.
