There is a big Christmas dinner for everyone aboard HMCS Toronto.
The ship is currently deployed in the Arabian Sea.
Lt. Patrick White, from Calgary, said the officers pitch in during the dinner to make it a special event.
“They’re going to have a good turkey dinner with all the fixings and everything you’d expect,” White said. “One of the big differences is the officers will serve the crew.”
White said they really appreciate all of the cards and greetings from people back home.
HMCS Toronto will be returning to its home port of Halifax at the end of February.
