Coyote pack attacks Edmonton dogwalker

Some terrifying moments for an Edmonton woman Thursday night, after a pack of coyotes pounced while she was walking her dogs.
Fire crews say the woman was walking a long an embankment with three dogs around 8p.m., when a group of nine coyotes approached.
The wild animals separated the smallest dog, and chased it onto a patch of ice.
After trying, and failing, to chase the coyotes away, the woman called 911.
Fire crews rescued the pup, which was taken for emergency care.
No word on the extent of the pet’s injuries.
