STARS called to ATV accident

STARS was called just before 8:30 p.m. Wednesday evening to a rural location near Acme, north of Beiseker after a man was reportedly injured after an accident involving an ATV.
Spokesman Cameron Heke tells 660News, “The patient sustained potentially life-threatening injuries after an all-terrain vehicle he was riding in, which was being towed by another vehicle at highway speeds, that vehicle was rear-ended by another vehicle.”
The incident occurred on Highway 806 near the intersection with Township Road 292.
The patient was transported to the Foothills Medical Center and remains in serious condition at this time.
