Tax deadline pushed back

We are only five days away from the tax deadline.

Wednesday was supposed to be the last day to file your finances to the federal government but because of the heartbleed bug, it has been pushed back until May 5th.

The CRA says even if you can’t pay all of your balance owing right away, you should still file your return on or before May 5th to avoid a late-filing penalty.

The deadline for anyone who is self employed is midnight on June 16th.
