Winners declared for YYC Burger Week

The results are in for YYC Burger Week.
The winner of the $10 burger is Flipp’n Burgers in Sunnyside. Craft Beer Market takes the best $15 dollar burger and NoTable is the champion of the $20 category.
One of the owners of Flipp’n Burgers, Sarah Amery tells 660News, this means a lot for their business. “Good recognition for us. We’re fairly new. We’ve been open just over a year. So, it’s exciting because you look to the team to create the burger and it’s definitely drawing a positive crowd in the community.”
Amery says they sold more than 315 burgers to hungry guests during burger week from May 2-10.
She says their burger had a fun feel to it. They used a fried egg, baby spinach and pickled onions.
It is no longer on the menu, but Amery says there’s a chance it could be rolled out in the near future.
