All eyes will be to the sky Wednesday evening in High River.

The Canadian Forces Skyhawks, Snowbirds and CF18 Hornet will be showing off their skills for the High River Air Show.

It’s the first year for the event that Mayor Craig Snodgrass hopes will “showcase the town in a positive way.”

A number of other vintage aircrafts will be on display, and a tent will be set up for autographs.

The action takes place at the High River Regional Airport.
