Mounties in Cochrane say the family of a man missing since a weekend house party in Springbank are extremely concerned for his well being.
32-year-old Nick Lush was last seen early on Sunday morning after leaving the party with two individuals and he hasn’t been heard from since.
Inspector Gibson Glavin said the man’s disappearance might be related to reports that came in early Sunday morning, of two men assaulting another along the Trans-Canada highway earlier this week.
“We’re holding that possibility open,” he said. “Obviously there’s with the connection between the dates it would be foolish of us to think there might not be a connection, but we don’t know if there is a connection, so we are keeping this information quite close to this missing person investigation in case there is anyway they are related.”
RCMP are also searching for a vehicle of interest in the case.
It’s a 2008 Dodge Charger with Alberta license plate BDY-1907.
