Man charged after hammer attack in Red Deer

Police have a man in custody after a bizarre attack in Red Deer.

On Friday, Oct. 16, RCMP said a suspect climbed to a second floor apartment balcony and then assaulted two of the people inside with a hammer.

28-year-old Tyrel Jackson faces a long list of charges, including break and enter, uttering threats and assault with a weapon.
