City streamlines construction permit process

The city is making it a lot easier to go through the process for resident construction permits.
It’s thanks to improvements in the system that now offers new inspection services and options.
The city’s Michael Van Han says they now offer a complete online residential permit service.
“We are the first city to do a beginning to end process on one single application. There are other municipalities that are trying to do the same,” he said.
Starting Tuesday, the city’s Residential ePermit customers applying for new home construction permits can get everything done by using a single online tool.
