Make-A-Wish holds family fun gala

It was another successful year at the annual Wonderland of Wishes gala, hosted by the Make-A-Wish foundation on Sunday.
Kim Anthony, CEO of Make-A-Wish southern Alberta, told 660 NEWS the event is for families, community partners and volunteers with the organization.
“It’s a fun afternoon of crafts, games, sing-a-longs and lunch, and it’s really a time for wish families to talk with each other and just have fun,” Anthony said.
One of the families that the organization helped out shared their experience and the fact that they are now giving back after their wish was granted.
The event ran Sunday afternoon at the Westin Hotel on 4th Avenue S.W.
