Canadians spending less this Christmas

Canadians plan to cap their holiday spending this year.
A new poll from Sun Life Financial shows 90 per cent of us plan to spend the same or less than we did last year over the holiday season.
Almost four out of 10 said they’d definitely be spending less, while just one per cent planned to spend significantly more than last year.
The organization’s chief investment officer blames the lack of increased spending on debt-loads, saying Canadians are “tapped-out” from a debt perspective.
