Red Deer Mounties look for rubbish robber

Not only was his disguise garbage, so were his trio of attempted robberies last night in Red Deer.
Mounties think the same man is behind three different failed hold-ups at gas stations and convenience stores Wednesday night within less than an hour of each other.
The disguise: a black garbage bag the would-be thief had pulled over his head.
Apparently the clerks working didn’t take his demands too seriously, as he never got any money. In one case, he just left when he was told there was no money in the till, in the last robbery he pulled out a tire iron, but the employee bested him with a broom and ‘shooed’ him away.
