Multi-family recycling begins Monday

Monday is the day blue bins should be appearing in all multi-family housing complexes in the City of Calgary.
The city announced about 18 months ago that complexes must have full recycling services in place by February 1, 2016.
Administration says most building owners and managers have been cooperative in getting programs in place, though some have expressed issues with space to hold the program.
If they don’t comply, a $250 fine can be issued, though enforcement will only come if someone tells the city a building is not in compliance.
