Flames reading to school kids

Some Calgary Flames players are trading in their sticks for books Monday.

Matt Stajan, Daryk Engelland and Ladislav Smid are heading to Rundle Elementary School where they will talk to kids about the importance of reading and then sign autographs.

It’s a part of the ‘Reading…Give it a Shot!’ program which reached over 22,000 students last season.
