A reputed gangster has been found not guilty of first-degree murder in a high profile triple shooting.
Nick Chan was charged in the death of Sanjeev Mann at the Bolsa restaurant on New Year’s Day 2009.
Two other men also died in the gunfire, including innocent bystander Keni Su’a.
It took the jury of eight men and four women just five hours to hand down the not guilty verdict.
Chan is still being held on other charges, and is due to go on trial in October for conspiracy to commit murder and murder in the death of Kevin Anaya.
The crown unsuccessfully argued that Chan orchestrated the Bolsa shooting.
