A man arrested after police found a hidden tunnel in his southeast Calgary backyard full of stolen items, is now facing similar charges in High River.
Douglas Scott Pentland, 50, is accused of breaking into four homes in the town, and 15 here in Calgary, and stealing everything from golf clubs, bicycles, and snowboards to purses, iPods and clothing.
Investigators said the sophisticated tunnel, and a home in the community of Queensland, contained up to $100,000 worth of stolen goods.
