Gun smash and grab takes just 4 minutes

The Calgary Police Service is looking for a suspect after a break-in early Tuesday morning at the Cabela’s along Deerfoot Trail.
The suspect, who was in the store for only four minutes, made off with nine handguns and three rifles, all semi-automatic, worth more than $10,000.
The break in happened around 4:40 a.m., and while a store manager was inside at the time, they were in a back room and didn’t see anything.
Police say no one noticed the stolen goods until other staffers arrived around 6:30 a.m.
The suspect was wearing a balaclava and hoodie.
Police say they will work with the Canadian Firearms Centre and the Chief Firearms Officers to ensure Cabela’s was storing the guns properly.
