Help end homelessness step by step

Every step you take will help homeless children and their families get back on their feet.
Philanthropist Suzanne West is hosting a charity stair climb at the Crescent Height Stairs Tuesday with proceeds going towards Inn from the Cold.
Spokesperson Lynn Cox says $1 will be donated to the organization for every set of steps participants complete, and that donation is doubled for pregnant women and seniors.
“Homeless children and their families are a group of people that are growing at an alarming rate. We’ve been at capacity for quite a bit in 2015, and I’d have to confirm those numbers, but we were at capacity for I believe 90 per cent of the year,” she said.
The event runs from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
