Calgary police may have finally caught up with a serial robber in the city.
Officers say two more robberies happened early Wednesday, after five in the past few days with a similar suspect description.
After a Subway was targeted in Falconridge, police were able to follow the suspect’s vehicle with the HAWCS Helicopter.
Detective Andy Nguyen says they stopped the vehicle and arrested a man, following a short struggle.
“At this point, he’s being detained for questioning, and we will know more at the end of the interview by investigators,” he said.
One person was hurt in a robbery Wednesday morning.
A man was stabbed at the Tops Pizza and Sports Bar, but is expected to recover.
