Crash kills motorcyclist in SE

A man in his 50s is dead after a crash involving a car and a motorcycle in the city’s southeast.
It happened around 6:20 a.m. Wednesday at the intersection of 52 Street and 106 Avenue SE.
The motorcyclist was pronounced dead on scene, and the Traffic Unit is investigating.
It’s too early to say if speed or alcohol were factors in the crash.
EMS say it appears the motorcycle hit the passenger side of the vehicle.
Northbound 52 Street is closed at 114 Avenue.
It’s the second fatal motorbike crash this week, after a single vehicle crash in Hidden Valley on Monday.
