Mounties investigate arson in Crossfield

Police believe a fire at an apartment building in Crossfield was set intentionally.

Airdrie Rural RCMP says the blaze was quickly put out Tuesday by the building’s sprinkler system, Good Samaritans, and the fire department.

A third flooded apartment sustained minor damage, and everyone was able to get out safely.

Mounties are asking anyone with information on the fire at 1010 Railway Street in Crossfield to contact them, or Crime Stoppers.
