RCMP investigating shooting in Red Deer

One person has been taken to hospital after reports of a shooting in Red Deer.

RCMP responded just before 6:00 pm Wednesday.

Mounties have sealed off the crime scene for investigation.

The public is not at this time believed to be at risk.

Police say they will provide an update on Thursday morning.

The victim’s condition is unknown.
