Ivor Strong Bridge construction ahead of schedule

There’s some great news for drivers in the southeast.
Construction on the Ivor Strong Bridge on Deerfoot Trail is ahead of schedule.
Over the weekend, crews went from working in the area 24 hours a day, down to just overnight as bridge rehabilitation work continues.
That means the area is now free-flowing, with no lane or speed reductions during the day.
The province says they are two weeks ahead of the target date.
