Pokemon Go can improve work environment says HR Expert

As Pokemon Go continues to reshape the video game world, some business owners may notice their employees “catching them all” on company time.

However, it’s not all a bad thing according to a human resources specialist.

“Up to 70 per cent of workers that are playing the game are also saying that they have met new friends, and built new relationships in the workplace with people they wouldn’t have otherwise,” says Debby Carreau, CEO of Inspired HR. “That’s very telling in terms of employee engagement and getting people to enjoy the work place.”

Businesses can also draw customers by paying for ‘lures’ which attract Pokemon characters to an area, resulting in Pokemon Go players visiting, and hopefully buying products or services.
