Country Thunder stomps into Calgary

Grab those cowboy boots, and pull the Calgary Stampede hat off the shelf.

There are few better Canadian cities to debut an outdoor country music festival, and Calgary gets the honour August 19-21, 2016.

A limited number of tickets are still available for Country Thunder. The three day concert series takes over Prairie Winds Park (223 Castleridge Blvd NE, Calgary) with main stage performances beginning at 2:30 p.m. on Friday.

Big & Rich, Tim McGraw and Luke Bryan are the evening headliners.

A similar event, the Craven Country Jamboree hit Saskatchewan in July.
