Body pulled from southeast pond

Calgary police confirm that a body has been pulled from a pond in Valleyview Park, near 26th Street and 30th Avenue SE.
Carol Henke, with the Calgary Fire Department, tells 660NEWS, they were called just after 10 Thursday morning.
“23 Fire Station is just a couple blocks away so they quickly responded, and unfortunately it turned out to be a body in the water.”
The medical examiner is determining how the person died.
