A man in his 20s is dead, following a motorcycle crash just before 1:30 a.m. Friday.
The driver lost control in the eastbound lanes of the 1200 block of Memorial Drive NW.
Duty Inspector Dean LaGrange says no one else was involved.
“It doesn’t appear that alcohol is involved, but speed would be a factor, for sure,” he said.
No one saw the crash happen, but residents in the area reported hearing it.
The traffic section is investigating and more information is expected later on Friday.
