Alabama ‘in a hurry’ for Stampede 2017

The boys that sing “Song of the South” are heading north of the Canada/USA border.

Alabama is the first big act announced for Calgary Stampede 2017!

The Country Music Hall of Famers will take the Scotiabank Saddledome Stage on Friday, July 14, 2017.

The band, with a combined 178 Country Music Association, Grammy and American Country Music awards, will be a part of the Virgin Mobile Stampede Concert Series.

“Alabama has been making unforgettable music for 40 years,” Adam Oppenheim, president, Stampede Concerts Inc. said in a statement. “They are continuing to make great music and have a great fan base.”

Tickets go on sale December 2, 2016, through ticketmaster.
