Four women shot in Calgary’s northeast

Calgary police now say four women are in hospital after being shot in an incident on Castleridge Way N.E. early Saturday morning.

Police say the call came in at about 4:20.

All the victims were reported in serious but stable condition when they were transported. They were all shot in the face and neck.

three of the women are in their 20s and 30s and were found in the vicinity of a home, while the fourth woman, in her 40s, was found inside.

A vehicle with its doors open was sitting in the middle of the street.

Investigators are trying to determine exactly what happened and to pin down a suspect’s description.
