Body of missing 21-year-old found in northeast Calgary

The Calgary Police Service has identified the person found dead in an alley in the northeast on Thursday as a woman who was reported missing last month.
Shianne Kim Thom, 21, was last seen outside her home in Silver Springs on Dec. 18.
Police asked the public for help finding her because she required medication for an undisclosed condition.
Her snow-covered body was found in the community of Marlborough Park Thursday morning.
Police say an autopsy is scheduled for Monday to determine how Thom died.
