Hitmen win 7-1 in Edmonton

The Calgary Hitmen extended their winning streak to three games with a 7-1 victory over the Edmonton Oil Kings on Saturday night at Rogers Place.
Jakob Stukel and Mark Kastelic both scored twice for Calgary with Jake Kryski adding a goal and two assists for a team-leading three points. For Stukel his second marker was his 37th goal of the season establishing a new career high.
Dom Schmiemann and Luke Coleman also found the back of the net for the visitors who built period leads of 3-0 and 4-0 while Hunter Campbell and Riley Stotts both chipped in a pair of assists.
Matthew Armitage made 27 saves to record his second victory in as many starts.
The Hitmen will cap the 2017-18 season with a rematch against the Oil Kings tomorrow, Sunday, Mar. 18 at the Scotiabank Saddledome. Game time is 2:00 p.m.
