CALGARY (660 NEWS)- The city has adjusted its hours of operation for a number of facilities and services.

Free family swim
The City is offering a free swim from 1 to 2:30 p.m. and 3 to 4:30 p.m. at:

–Acadia Aquatic & Fitness Centre (9009 Fairmount Dr. S.E.)
–Bob Bahan Aquatic and Fitness Centre (4812 14 Ave. S.E.)
–Shouldice Aquatic Centre (5303 Bowness Rd. N.W.)

Free family skate
Strap on skates and enjoy a free skate from 1 to 2:15 p.m. at:

–Ernie Starr Arena (4808 14 Avenue S.E.)
–Frank McCool Arena (1900 Lake Bonavista Drive S.E.)
–Murray Copot Arena (6727 Centre Street N.W.)
–Optimist and George Blunden Arenas (5020 26 Avenue S.W.)
–Rose Kohn and Jimmy Condon Arenas (502 Heritage Drive S.W.)
–Shouldice Arena (1515 Home Road N.W.)
–Stu Hendry and Henry Viney Arenas (814 13 Avenue N.E.)
–Stu Peppard Arena (5300 19th Street S.W.)

Village Square and Southland Leisure Centres will be open from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The following facilities will be closed:

-All City of Calgary administrative buildings, including City Hall
-All golf courses and ranges
-All pools (except Acadia Aquatic & Fitness; Bob Bahan Aquatic and Fitness Centre; Shouldice Aquatic Centre; Southland Leisure Centre; and Village Square Leisure Centre)
-North Mount Pleasant and Wildflower Arts Centres
-All Athletic Parks (except for advanced bookings)
-Calgary Soccer Centre (except for advanced bookings)
-All Arenas (except for advanced bookings and Ernie Starr Arena; Frank McCool Arena; Murray Copot Arena; Optimist and George Blunden Arenas; Rose Kohn and Jimmy-Condon Arenas; Shouldice Arena; Stu Hendry and Henry Viney Arenas; and Stu Peppard Arena.

Calgary Transit will provide a Sunday level of service.

On-street parking is free and holiday rates will be in effect at select Calgary Parking Authority surface lots and parkades.

The East Calgary and Spyhill Landfills are open until 5 p.m, while the Shepard Landfill is closed.
