CALGARY (660 NEWS) – From smartphones to the latest video game consoles, kids have a lot of tech these days.
If you’re looking to get them something this Christmas without a screen, there are a few ideas according to a toy expert.
Board games might just pry your kids away from Fortnite for a bit and Mastermind Toys has sniffed out a few new ones, you have to use your nose! Toy Expert Katrina Fyfle who said that number one on Mastermind’s Top Twenty toy list this year is the Pencil Nose Game!
“It’s like Pictionary but you’re drawing with your nose.”
Next up a game that actually uses your sniffer for what it was meant for.
“It’s gonna sound gross but it’s called ‘What’s That Smell?’ You get a ton of these little scratch and sniff cards, you each get one and you have to try and tell what that smell is,” said Fyfle.
The little home robots are really popular along with the music and dance DJ Bot that made the list among Mastermind’s favourites.
If your child is younger and wants a more cuddly buddy Fyfle said LiL’ Gleemerz are also on its list.
The interactive little lemur critters with fuzzy light up tails and, of course, fingerlings, are some of the hot toys this Christmas.
