Hiker dead after falling off mountain near Kananaskis

CANMORE (660 NEWS) — Canmore RCMP say they have found a 21-year-old man dead near Kananaskis after he fell off Heart Mountain. They first arrived at the scene around 1 p.m. after calls that a man had fallen approximately 60 feet.
He was with at least one other hiker at the time that he fell.
Kananaskis Search and Rescue were conducting rescue efforts to locate the man and his body has since been recovered. His identity is not being released until RCMP contact his family.
