House fire in Brentwood possibly caused by lightning

CALGARY (660 NEWS) – A lightning strike is believed to be the cause of a fire in Brentwood Sunday night.

Crews with the Calgary Fire Department arrived at a home on Brenner Drive, where they found the roof on fire.

Firefighters attacked in the fire inside the home and knocked the roof down after gaining access to the attic.

The residents of the home escaped safely and no injuries were reported.
