Young Calgarian claims outstanding $50 million LOTTO MAX Jackpot

CALGARY (660 NEWS) — After over 3 months, a $50 million LOTTO MAX Jackpot ticket sold in Calgary has been claimed.

Joshua Caines had no clue that he had won until recently when he heard the ticket had gone unclaimed.

He says he knew he had some tickets to check, one he soon came to find out would make him a multi-millionaire.

After having checked his winning ticket online, Caines believed one of his tickets looked like a winner, so he loaded up the WCLC Lottery Manager app on his phone and found out he had won.

Caines says he doesn’t have any major plans for the money yet. He adds he’s going to take his time in planning his future with it.

The winning ticket was bought from the 7-eleven at 7712 Ranchview Drive N.W.

It was the only ticket sold all across Canada to match all seven LOTTO MAX winning numbers on one line.

The winning numbers were 5, 9, 33, 36, 39, 41, and 44.
