Alberta Hockey Hall of Fame names 2020 class

CALGARY (660 NEWS) — Some familiar faces are headed to the Alberta Hockey Hall of Fame.

Two-time Stanley Cup winner and current president of the Calgary Flames alumni Jamie Macoun has earned the 2020 class call.
He started his career with the Flames in 1983, signing as a free agent. Over 17 years, he suited up in more than 1,300 regular season and playoff games in the NHL.

The blueliner played in our city for nearly a decade, winning the Stanley Cup in 1989. He also was a member of the Toronto Maple Leafs and Detroit Red Wings. Born in Hamilton, Ont., he calls Calgary home.
Fellow Calgarian Cassie Campbell-Pascall is also getting the AHHF nod. The two-time Olympic gold medalist and six-time world champion currently works as a broadcaster, often heard as a colour commentator during Flames games. In 2016, she received the Order of Canada.

Those also named to the 2020 class include Bill Bucyk, Bob Clark, John Davidson, Randy Gregg, Ken Hitchcock and the 1974-75 Lethbridge Native Sons.
The 2020 inductees will be recognized at the AHHF Awards Gala on Sunday, July 19, in Canmore.
